Some Records May Be Exempt From Disclosure 

The Public Records Act (RCW 42.56) and other statues list certain types of documents that are exempt from public inspection. If only a portion of a record is exempt from disclosure, the Public Records Officer will redact the exempt portion before providing the requested record.
